Interwil Australia (IA) is an extension of a South African company, Interwil Wood Products (IWP). Having entered the Australian and New Zealand markets in 2012 through a partnership, starting with hardboard from South Africa, IA have successfully expanded to source from wood manufacturers worldwide.
In 2023, Interwil Wood Products teamed up with HTP Global, a European wood panel trading company, to form a joint venture in Australia called INTERWIL AUSTRALIA PTY LTD.
This partnership combines the strengths of both companies and offers a wide range of wood products, such as plywood, MDF, HDF, hardboard, laminates, and various hardwoods and softwoods, to the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Interwil Australia’s business model is simple: we buy wood products from top manufacturers around the world and ship them directly to customers’ preferred ports. The company doesn’t keep stock locally, instead encouraging customers to handle distribution and delivery as needed, making the supply chain faster and more efficient.
